Over Thanksgiving I had to fly and was disappointed that I didn't get to see anyone go through the body scan. Shucks. TSA was only selecting a few people and I was not one of the chosen few. For the record, you don't need to get there two hours ahead of time like they say. Over dramatic. I didn't have time to throw my boots in the bin before they were telling me to come through the medal detector.
My family drove to Dallas from Louisiana and I flew in from Nashville to spend Thanksgiving with the Lesters (family friends of ours). Caitlin picked me up and we met Erin for drinks at this adorable place called Into The Glass. We're Wine-Ohs. Anyways, we caught up, they picked fun at me and all was right with the world. Thursday, I'm embarrassed to admit, we did not leave the house. Not. Once. I opened the door, standing in the doorway, just to see how cold it felt outside. Pathetic. On Black Friday we went shopping and were shocked to not be caught up in lines and chaos. I think the hardcore shoppers were having nap time. Saturday, well, I'm not even going to mention the game. We'll leave it at that.
