Modest As A Mouse

Can I start off by saying how proud I am of my little brother? I blogged about him before in Oh Brother and some of the awesome work he's done. Well, he received this email below and will be presented with an award next month. When I congratulated him, his response was "Well, I guess it'll look good on my resume." He's so modest. Even if I make fun of you and call you an over-achiever, I wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS and I'm so proud of you!

You have been selected by the School’s faculty as the recipient of the 2010 – 2011 Outstanding Senior in Broadcast Journalism Award. This award is one of our Mass Communication and Journalism awards given out each year, and the recipients are recognized in the College of Arts & Letters awards program and at the School’s Spring Banquet and Student Showcase. You will be presented with your award at the MCJ Spring Banquet and Student Showcase set for April 28, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the Thad Cochran Center, ballroom III.

I will also be sending a letter informing your parents/significant others of this event at which you will be recognized so that they can make plans to attend as well.
