Helen History

For those of you who know me, you know I go by my middle name and my first name is actually Helen. I often make fun of it being an old lady name, but it actually has a lot of meaning to me. My grandmother (mom's mom), who I never was fortunate enough to meet, my aunt, who I adore, and now the latest addition, my first cousin's baby, are all named Helen.

When my cousin was naming her newborn baby, she wanted to name her after the strongest woman she knows, her mother (my aunt). My aunt battled breast cancer several years back and she kicked its butt! Baby Helen will soon be a big sister and I'm sure there will be stories to come! She has a play credit card in her purse and says "charge it to Daddy" when she's play shopping. She also has a play cell phone and claims that I never answer, but my mom tells her I must be at work. She's a riot!

Anyways, I can't help but share this picture of her and some kids in her class as they waited to have their school picture. Is this not the cutuest picture you've ever seen?!?
